San German dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Leones 's 40. San German looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Ponce 's players. Guard Andre Curbelo (183-2001, college: Southern Miss) chipped in 22 points and 9 assists. The former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991) produced 30 points and 6 assists and American guard Jalen Crutcher (187-1999, college: Dayton) added 23 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San German moved-up to second place. Loser Leones dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost.
